We have completed a stunning hillside retreat in Larkspur, transforming a forgotten Au Pair unit into a sophisticated home-away-from-home. Designed in collaboration with Eric Layton Architect and Kelly Bartley Interiors, the space was fully gutted and restructured, featuring Marvin bifold doors and expanded sightlines to capture sweeping views of Mount Tamalpais and the bay. The kitchen serves as the centerpiece, featuring a single slab marble island with an illuminated backsplash and custom oak shelving. Tadelakt walls and Castelli marble floors elevate the powder bath, while a Pinky's Steel Door encloses a dedicated wine storage room. A reworked upper deck with infrared heaters and 7.1 surround sound with a 110" Sony TV makes this the ultimate space for both entertaining and relaxation.
